An ideal stop on route to your destination or a great holiday spot in Southern Burgundy, Cormatin village is famous for its magnificent 17th century castle and its beautiful gardens on the wine route and the many Romanesque churches between Cluny and Tournus.

The campsite

Located very close to the Nature Walk (Voie Verte) and the lake (for fishing), the campsite has 50 pitches and 10 chalets for peace and quiet and a family atmosphere.
Our site is crossed by the Givry - Charnay Les Mâcon nature walk, ideal for cycling, rollerskating and walking in a safe environment.
Campsite pitches Cycle trails for 75 kms

Chalets for 1 to 4 guests, 6 guests and 1 chalet suitable for a disabled guest in a wheelchair.

Facilities in each chalet:
  • Snack-bar, open for breakfast and fast food at lunch and in the evening.
  • living room with kitchen area, fridge, crockery and cutlery, microwave, television
  • double sofa-bed, separate room with double bed
  • 1 extra bedroom with 2 single beds for the 6 person chalet
  • 7 m2 patio area with garden furniture and bike shelter

Services available:
  • A general store for basic goods and bread.
  • A launderette next to reception (washing machine, dryer, ironing board).
Our campsite has special facilities and equipment for cyclists:
  • Bike hire and Hire of bike "trailers" for children, 7 days a week
  • 3 paddocks are available for horse-riders and their horses.
